A Journey Through Sound, Emotion and Self-Discovery

Each note and melody reflects a search for authenticity, a dialogue between experience and intuition. Ester’s music invites listeners into a space where emotion is explored, boundaries between genres are fluid, and every performance becomes a shared journey.

Born into a family of pianists, Ester Maiorani was introduced to music at the age of three. What began as a playful curiosity soon turned into a lifelong vocation. After early studies in Italy, she graduated from the Licinio Refice Conservatory of Frosinone, where she deepened her classical piano training while exploring a wide range of styles and influences.

An Erasmus experience in French-speaking Switzerland proved decisive: captivated by its artistic environment and cultural diversity, she chose to settle in Lausanne, where she later entered the Haute École de Musique to pursue a Bachelor in Pop Keyboards.

Her music is driven by introspection and emotional clarity. Each song is a personal reflection — a dialogue with herself and the people who shaped her life. Blending Pop songwriting with Jazz and Funk nuances and a touch of classical sensibility, Ester creates a sound that is both intimate and refined.

After several collaborations, she founded the Ester Maiorani Project in 2025: a collective of musicians from the local scene dedicated to arranging and producing her original compositions. The group’s debut album is scheduled for release in 2026, marking a new chapter in her artistic journey.
